Dyno is a moderation-first bot, configured as a list of modules you switch on in its dashboard. Every rule you want has to fit one of those modules.

## What Bond does differently

Bond takes moderation rules as sentences rather than checkboxes, and every action is checked against the asking member's own Discord permissions and role position, so a mod can never use Bond to act above their level.

Both bots can run at once. There is no import step and nothing to migrate.

### 1. Add Bond alongside

Dyno keeps doing exactly what it does today. Bond joins without touching a single existing setting.

### 2. Move one thing across

Pick the part you like least. Describe what it does to Bond, approve the changes, and watch it run for a week.

### 3. Turn the old one off

Only once the new one has run. Repeat for the next part, or stop here and keep both.

## When to stay on Dyno.

Stick with Dyno if you want a fixed set of moderation modules and nothing making judgement calls.

It is good at moderation and auto-moderation, and there is no prize for switching a tool you are happy with. Add Bond for the jobs Dyno does not cover, and leave the rest where it is.
