# Automations & flows

Things that run without you: welcome messages, reaction roles, scheduled announcements, recurring reports. You describe the rule in a sentence instead of wiring it up in a flowchart builder.

11 of 196 tools.

## What you can ask.

- "@Bond Welcome every new member in #general and give them the Member role"
- "@Bond Post a server activity summary every Monday at 9am"
- "@Bond Remind me to renew the boost in 30 days"

## The 11 tools in this group.

These are the names Bond picks between. You never type one.

- `create_flow`: Create an automation that runs on an event or a schedule, saved only after a dry run passes.
- `update_flow`: Update an existing automation flow: replace its code, or change its description or enabled state.
- `list_flows`: List every automation in this server with its trigger, status, summary and how its last run went.
- `get_flow`: Get one automation in full: what it does, what it is allowed to touch, and how its last few runs went.
- `delete_flow`: Delete an automation flow from this Discord server permanently; it stops running immediately and there is no undo.
- `toggle_flow`: Enable or disable an automation flow, keeping its configuration.
- `test_flow`: Dry-run an automation before it is saved, so a broken one is caught first.
- `list_automod_rules`: List the Discord server's auto moderation rules with their trigger types, actions, exemptions and configuration.
- `create_automod_rule`: Create an auto moderation rule Discord enforces itself, catching keywords, Rust-flavored regex, spam, mention spam, preset filters, or prohibited profile text.
- `edit_automod_rule`: Edit an auto moderation rule in place: its name, trigger metadata, actions, exemptions and enabled state.
- `delete_automod_rule`: Delete an auto moderation rule from the Discord server; it stops detecting content immediately and cannot be restored.
