AI Discord bot pricing compared (August 2026)

What AiGuild, PeakBot, BuildMyDiscord, TidyCord and Bond charge, how credits, tokens and per-server unlocks differ, and how to estimate your real monthly cost.

Bond is one of the products in this comparison, and we build it. Read the sections about everyone else as a survey of their public pricing pages, and the section about Bond knowing who wrote it. Every figure below is what these products published as of August 2026 and prices change; check the source pages before you commit to anything.

The hard part of this category is not the headline price. Five products all land between $4 and $25 a month, and the number tells you almost nothing, because they are selling five different units. One sells generations, one sells server slots, one sells a credit balance, one sells a flat unlock, and one sells tokens. Comparing the monthly figures without comparing the units produces the wrong answer most of the time.

The four metering models

Credits per generation. You buy a balance of credits and each AI action spends a fixed number. Predictable per action, and easy to reason about: 10 credits per full server build means five builds a week or fifty, and you can count them. The failure mode is that a credit is a unit of the product's choosing, so credits from two products are not comparable, and a heavy action and a light one may cost the same.

Tokens per usage. You buy an allowance measured in model tokens and each run spends what it actually consumed. Long conversations and complicated work cost more than one-line questions. Harder to predict in advance, and it stops a five-minute question and a two-hour server rebuild from costing the same thing.

Per-server unlock. You pay a flat monthly fee and a set of features switches on in one server. Usage does not affect the bill. If you run three servers, you buy three subscriptions.

Flat unlock, Discord-billed. Same as above, except the subscription is sold through Discord's own App Subscriptions rather than a website, so it renews with the rest of your Discord purchases and never touches an external checkout.

None of these is the right one. They fail in different directions: credits punish iteration, tokens punish long sessions, per-server pricing punishes running several communities, flat unlocks punish light users by charging them the same as heavy ones.

What each product charges

AiGuild

A credit-metered generator bot at aiguild.me. A full server generation through /setup costs 10 credits, and lighter AI features (AI announcements, AI-managed giveaways, role-reaction menus) cost 2.

The free plan gives 10 credits every two weeks, which is one full generation per fortnight. VIP is €3.99 per month and Premium is €7.99 per month; on monthly billing VIP carries 50 credits per week and Premium carries 300. Paid plans skip the generation queue that free requests wait in.

Priced in euros, so your actual charge depends on the exchange rate at billing time.

PeakBot

A per-server subscription at peakbot.pro, positioned as one bot replacing a stack of the classic ones. Pro is $8.25 per month per server, or $69 per year, which works out to about $5.75 per month billed annually. There is a cheaper Starter tier at $48 per year and an Agency tier at $174 per year covering up to 100 servers.

The free plan is unusually broad for this category: moderation, XP and levelling, tickets, welcome messages, reaction roles, anti-nuke and backups, custom embeds, with no time limit. The AI Server Builder is one of the things the free plan does not include; you can generate a build plan without paying, but applying it needs a paid plan.

Per-server is the pricing detail that matters here. One community, cheap. Four communities, four subscriptions unless you go to Agency.

BuildMyDiscord

A web-based generator with a monthly credit allowance, at buildmydiscord.com. Free gives 600 one-time AI credits, so it is a trial rather than a tier. Pro is $9.99 per month for 13,500 AI credits and up to 10 servers. Business is $24.99 per month for 34,000 credits with unlimited servers.

Credits refresh monthly rather than weekly, and the server count is part of the plan, so this is a credit model with a seat limit stacked on top.

TidyCord

A flat unlock at tidycord.de, sold at $3.99 per month through Discord App Subscriptions rather than a separate checkout. Premium covers unlimited AI chat, unlimited templates, unlimited role generations and refinements, and an extended 150-message AI memory.

Being Discord-billed is a genuine convenience: no second payment relationship, and it cancels from the same place as everything else you have subscribed to on Discord.

Bond

Token-metered, with every feature available on the free tier. Free is 600K tokens per week, with a 150K daily cap so a single afternoon cannot drain the week. Pro is $7.99 per month for 6M tokens per week. Max is $19.99 per month for 15M tokens per week.

Server plans work the same way but fund a shared pool the whole community draws on: Server Pro at $7.99 per month is a 6M weekly pool with a 2.5M weekly share per member, Server Max at $19.99 per month is a 15M pool with a 6M share per member. There are one-time token packs at $2.99 for 3M and $4.99 for 6M.

The design choice worth naming is that no capability sits behind the paywall. Permission checks, bulk operations, memory, custom slash commands, interactive panels and the whole tool set run identically on the free plan. What a plan buys is room: more tokens, plus the two things that cost us money to keep running. The first is recurring automation. Cron and interval schedules need a server plan at all, capped at 10 recurring flows on Server Pro and 50 on Server Max; event-triggered flows and one-time reminders are free, and a free server can keep 3 event flows enabled at once. The second is how many custom slash commands a server keeps enabled: 5 free, 25 on Server Pro, 100 on Server Max. Full detail is on the pricing page.

Estimating your real monthly cost

The honest method is to work out how often you will actually use the AI part, because that is what separates these models.

Small server, one-time setup. You want a structure built, then you mostly leave it alone. A credit model is the cheapest possible fit here, and AiGuild's free tier alone (one full generation per fortnight) may cover the whole job. BuildMyDiscord's 600 free credits are aimed at exactly this. Bond's free 600K tokens per week will also do a server setup, though a large layout with permission work will use a chunk of the weekly allowance. Do not buy a subscription for a one-time build.

Small server, ongoing management. You will come back weekly for reorganisation, moderation questions, a new automation. Credits get awkward here, because iteration is what credit models charge for, and a rebuild after you changed your mind costs the same as the first build. A flat unlock ($3.99 TidyCord, $8.25 per server PeakBot) makes the bill predictable. Bond's free tier survives light weekly use; heavier use is the $7.99 tier.

Medium server with several moderators. The variable is how many people are using the AI, not how big the server is. Per-server flat pricing does not care: PeakBot Pro is $8.25 whether one person or twelve uses it, which is the best deal in this scenario if PeakBot's feature set is what you need. Credit models get expensive fast, because every moderator's generations come out of one balance. Bond's server plans are the shared-pool answer: $7.99 for a 6M weekly pool with a 2.5M per-member share, so one enthusiastic moderator cannot drain the community's week.

Several servers. Read the per-server terms first, they dominate everything else. PeakBot is per server until the Agency tier. BuildMyDiscord caps at 10 servers on Pro. Bond's personal allowance follows you across every server you are in, and a server plan is bought per server.

A rough sizing rule that works across all of them: count the AI actions you expect in a normal month, not the ones you expect in the first week. Setup weeks are unrepresentative, and every one of these products looks cheapest when measured against a setup week.

What we would tell you if we did not make Bond

If you want one server built once and then left alone, the cheapest correct answer is a free tier, probably a generator's. Do not subscribe.

If you want a fixed feature set running forever and you will not be having conversations with it, a flat per-server unlock is the cleanest deal in the category and there is nothing clever to work out.

If you are going to keep talking to the thing, then metering that reflects what you actually did is what stops light months from subsidising heavy ones. That is why Bond is token-metered, and the cost of that choice is that you cannot know your usage in advance, which is why /usage shows tokens used, the allowance, and the reset time rather than making you guess.

For where these products differ in kind rather than in price, agentic AI versus AI server generators is the more useful comparison. And if you are choosing on trust rather than cost, are AI Discord bots safe and the trust page cover that side.
