Thinking of switching?
Most servers already run two or three bots. Here is honestly how Bond compares to the ones people usually have — including when you should keep what you have got.
Bond does not take over anything another bot is doing. You can add it alongside whatever you run today.
Bond vs MEE6
Known for levelling, welcome messages and custom commands
MEE6 is the bot most servers start with, and most people looking to move want the same jobs done without configuring each one through a dashboard.
Bond vs Dyno
Known for moderation and auto-moderation
Dyno is the long-standing default for moderation. People look for an alternative when the module list stops matching the rules they actually want to enforce.
Bond vs Carl-bot
Known for reaction roles and logging
Carl-bot is the reference for reaction roles. The usual reason to look elsewhere is wanting the rest of the server managed the same way, without learning a second interface.
Bond vs Arcane
Known for levelling and activity roles
Arcane is the levelling specialist. Servers outgrow it when they want the level system to feed into something else — custom commands, rewards, announcements.
Bond vs YAGPDB
Known for free, deeply programmable automation
YAGPDB is enormously capable and free, and the usual reason to look elsewhere is its custom-command templating language.
Bond vs ProBot
Known for welcome images, moderation and levelling in one bot
ProBot bundles a lot into one install. People move when the bundle covers most of what they want but not the specific thing they actually need.
Before you switch
- Will Bond start doing things on its own once I add it?
- No. Bond only acts when someone mentions it or runs one of its commands, and anything that changes the server asks for approval first. Automation runs only if you asked Bond to set it up.
- Can Bond import the setup I already have in another bot?
- No — there is no import. You describe what your current bot does and Bond builds its own version, which you can test alongside the old one and switch over when you are happy with it.
- Will Bond and my current bot both respond to the same thing?
- Only if you ask Bond to duplicate something the other bot already does. Bond does not attach itself to your existing triggers, so leaving both installed is safe — the usual pattern is to turn off one feature at a time in the old bot as you move it across.
- How much does Bond cost?
- The free tier is 50 prompts a week on Light, Bond's fast model, with every tool available. Personal Pro is $7.99/month and Personal Max is $19.99/month for more weekly prompts on Ultra, Bond's most capable model.
