A Arcane alternative

Arcane is the levelling specialist. Servers outgrow it when they want the level system to feed into something else — custom commands, rewards, announcements.

What's different

Bond stores per-server data itself, so a level system is just data you can build on: role rewards, a /rank command, a weekly leaderboard post, all described in the same conversation.

@Bond Track message counts, give the Regular role at level 5, and post the top 10 every Monday

When to stay on Arcane

Stick with Arcane if you want levelling configured and left alone, with rank cards out of the box. It is good at levelling and activity roles and there is no prize for switching tools you are happy with.

Running both

You do not have to choose. Bond does not take over anything another bot is doing — add it alongside Arcane, use it for the things that are awkward today, and move the rest over only if you want to.
