A Dyno alternative

Dyno is the long-standing default for moderation. People look for an alternative when the module list stops matching the rules they actually want to enforce.

What's different

Bond takes moderation rules as sentences rather than checkboxes, and every action is checked against the asking member's own Discord permissions and role position — so a mod can never use Bond to act above their level.

@Bond Time out anyone posting invite links for an hour and log it in #mod-log

When to stay on Dyno

Stick with Dyno if you need a fixed, audited set of moderation modules with no model in the loop. It is good at moderation and auto-moderation and there is no prize for switching tools you are happy with.

Running both

You do not have to choose. Bond does not take over anything another bot is doing — add it alongside Dyno, use it for the things that are awkward today, and move the rest over only if you want to.
